I’m Ryan, and Rise Entertainment is my DJ business. There’s no roster of DJs behind the name and no office passing your booking along. When you call or send a message, you reach me, and I’m the one who shows up to play, so your requests and do-not-play list never get passed along to someone else.

I DJ weddings, corporate events, school dances, proms, Christmas parties, private parties and community events anywhere on Vancouver Island, from Victoria up to Comox and out to Tofino and Ucluelet.

Before your event, I go over the music with you. I’ll ask you about the songs you want to hear, the ones you’d rather skip, and who’s coming, so I have a sense of the crowd before the first song plays.

On the night, the plan is a starting point, not a script. I watch the dance floor and adjust as the night goes, while keeping to your do-not-play list.

I’ve been DJing for 7+ years and have played 100+ events.
